Abdolreza Ghalkhani

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, 9 January 2026, Abdolreza (Mehdi) Ghelkhani, a 42-year-old Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah, lost his life due to direct shooting by government forces and being hit by a live bullet during public protests in the Chaharrah Ojaq neighborhood of the city. This citizen was working in a carpentry company. The body of Abdolreza Ghelkhani was buried in Bagh Ferdows Cemetery in Kermanshah on Saturday, 10 January 2026.
