Akbar Teimoori

Akbar Teimouri, a 29-year-old Kurdish citizen from Kuhdasht, Lorestan Province, was killed by direct fire from government forces during popular protests in Fardis, Karaj, on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He had previously been arrested and subjected to torture during the 'Woman, Life, Freedom' movement. His body was laid to rest on Saturday, January 10, 2026, with a large public presence in the village of 'Siahcheshmeh' in Kuhdasht.
