Ali Shirmohammadi

Ali Shirmohammadi, 30 years old, was shot by armed forces of the Islamic Republic on the evening of Friday, January 8, 2026, during protests in Ardabil. State agents fired a bullet at Ali's lower right shoulder blade in the vicinity of 'Teacher's Park'. Ali Shirmohammadi's body was handed over for burial four days later, on the morning of January 13, 2026, and interred before dawn. Several days after the burial, the family was informed that Ali's name had been registered on the list of 'martyrs,' a matter in which the family had no involvement. Ali Shirmohammadi was single and worked in the field of building composites.
