Mahdi Mahmadi Kartalayi Lor

Mahdi Mohammadi Kortalai Lor, a 16-year-old from the Lor ethnic group, was shot in the back with a live bullet by state security forces on January 9, 2026, during public protests on the Saheb al-Zaman road in Shushtar, near a motorcycle manufacturing unit, and he lost his life (1). He was from the city of Shushtar in Khuzestan Province and was buried in Shushtar Cemetery on January 13, 2026 (1).
