Mehrshad Ghaedi

Mehrshad Ghaedi, a 25-year-old protester from Mamassani and residing in Tehran, suffered a spinal injury due to shrapnel from a grenade fired by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic during public protests on January 8, 2026, in the Naziabad neighborhood of Tehran and fell into a coma (1). He passed away a few days later on January 13, 2026 (1). His body was buried on Friday, January 15, 2026, in his hometown of Mamassani (1).
