Navid Noori

Navid Noori, a 24-year-old young man, lost his life during the protests in Rostamabad, Gilan on January 9, 2026. He was initially shot in the leg, and after falling to the ground, armed forces approached him and, after insulting and verbally abusing him, executed him with a final shot. This incident occurred near the Rostamabad Grand Mosque (1). Navid Noori's family faced severe security pressures during the funeral ceremony and were warned to refrain from any protests or dissemination of information (1).
