Nima Neynavapour, a 17-year-old athlete and Wushu practitioner from Ardabil, was shot by military bullets of the repressive forces on January 9, 2026, during protests in Ardabil while attempting to save a girl who was directly targeted. He succumbed to his injuries after 21 days in a coma (1). Nima was buried on February 29, 2026, at 7 AM (2).
