Majid Afshari, 42 years old and a hardware tools seller, was shot three times by repressive forces on January 9, 2026, during protests in Yazdanshahr, Isfahan, and was killed. He, who resided in northern Iran, had traveled to Isfahan to visit his mother. During this trip, he was targeted in the protests and lost his life (1).
