Omid Shojaeeyan

Omid Shojaian, a young Kurdish man from Kermanshah, was shot and killed by the repressive forces of the Islamic Republic during popular protests on January 9, 2026, in the Maskan neighborhood of Kermanshah, in front of his shop (1). Reports indicate that the families of the victims have been forced to pay an amount between 700 million to 1 billion tomans to receive the bodies of their loved ones (1).
