HamidReza Moslemi

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on 9 January 2026, Hamid Reza Moslemi, a 51-year-old citizen from Arak, Markazi province, was shot dead by government forces during public protests near a pharmacy. He was married and a father of two children. According to received information, government institutions pressured his family to introduce him as a 'martyr' and attribute his death to the protesters in exchange for handing over his body, but the family refused this request.
