Hasan Shayesteh

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on 9 January 2026, Hasan Shayesteh, a 35-year-old Baloch citizen from Bent city of Nikshahr County in Sistan and Baluchestan province, lost his life during public protests in Tehran due to direct shooting by government forces and being hit by bullets in the head and abdomen. According to the information received, the citizen's body was handed over to his family after several weeks on 27 January 2026, and was buried on 28 January 2026 in his hometown of Bent.
