Farhad Honarmand

Farhad Honarmand-Bagheri, 50 years old, was killed on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, during the Mehrshahr protests in Karaj by a live bullet fired by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. Government agents shot Farhad Honarmand-Bagheri from the top of a building. Farhad was transported to Tharallah Hospital in Hosseinabad, Mehrshahr. On Sunday, January 11, 2026, he passed away following surgery. On Monday, January 12, 2026, his family retrieved Farhad's body from Behesht Sakineh and transferred it to his hometown, Kermanshah, where he was laid to rest on January 13, 2026, in Kermanshah.
