Danial Moradizadeh

According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Thursday, 9 January 2026, Danial Moradizadeh, a 22-year-old Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah (Kermaşan), was killed by direct fire from government forces during protests in the Narmak neighborhood of Tehran, after being hit by three bullets in his leg and back. He worked in a cabinet making workshop and was responsible for providing for his family. Danial lived with his sister and mother. Danial's body was identified in the Kahrizak morgue in Tehran after a week of searching by his family, and was finally buried in Behesht Zahra.
