Ali Mohammadi

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, 9 January 2026, Ali Mohammadi, a 43-year-old citizen from Arak and residing in Mehrshahr, Karaj, was killed by direct fire from government forces during popular protests in the city. He was shot in the head and chest with live ammunition. He owned a cafe restaurant in Karaj. According to received information, after the body of this protester was handed over to his family, it was transferred to the village of Deh Kowsar in Arak, and he was not allowed to be buried in Karaj.
