Ali Ayazi

According to a report by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ali Ayazi, a 19-year-old footballer from Isfahan, was shot and wounded by government forces during public protests in the city on 9 January 2026. He died in hospital due to the severity of his injuries. He was a player for Sepahan youth football team. His body was returned to his family after 10 days, on 18 January 2026, after a large sum of money was paid and a commitment was made not to publicize his name or hold a funeral or memorial service. He was buried in Bagh Rezvan Cemetery.
