Hamid Kooshandeh

According to a report by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, 9 January 2026, Hamid Kooshandeh, a 35-year-old citizen and mechanical engineer from Karaj, was directly shot by government forces during public protests in Fardis Karaj. He was hit by a live bullet in the side and chest and lost his life. According to received information, this citizen was shot while trying to help injured people.
