Mohammad Karimi

Mohammad Karimi-Parmehr, 47 years old, was killed on the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026, during protests in Chalus, by the firing of Islamic Republic armed forces. Government agents targeted him with gunfire in the vicinity of 'Doustgar Street' in the city. A total of five bullets struck his body; one hit his shoulder and four others entered around his chest. Additionally, signs of injury were observed in the upper chest area, the nature of which has not been clarified to the family. Mohammad Karimi-Parmehr was the father of two children, a 17-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. His burial ceremony was held on the evening of January 10, 2026, under various restrictions.
