Khalil Sheikh Saadabadi

Khalil Sheikh-Sa'dabadi, 51 years old, was killed by the gunfire of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic during protests in Qasemabad, Mashhad, on Thursday, January 8, 2026. Government agents shot Khalil Sheikh-Sa'dabadi on Emamieh Street, in front of the police station in the same area. He succumbed to his injuries at Nazeran Hospital. He was married and a father of one child. On Friday morning, when the bodies were transferred to Behesht Rezvan, his family was also sent there for identification. His body was received, and on January 10, 2026, he was laid to rest in Behesht Reza, Block 25, Row 23, Grave 36. Khalil's family observed signs of fractures and bruising on his hand, despite him having been shot in the leg.
