Somayeh Bahrami

Somayeh Bahrami, 33 years old, was shot and killed by armed forces of the Islamic Republic on Thursday, January 8, 2025, during protests in Borazjan, Bushehr. Somayeh Bahrami was in a vehicle passing a checkpoint in front of the Borazjan Governorate when she was targeted by the government's armed forces. Government agents handed over her body to her family three days later, after obtaining various commitments. The family was also denied permission to view the body. Agents even prevented the family from inscribing the phrase 'Javidnam' (eternal name). Somayeh was single and had two brothers and two sisters.
