Mehdi Baghaei

Mehdi Baghaei, a 23-year-old youth, was killed on January 9, 2026, at his home located on Shahid Hamayi Street in Isfahan by agents of the Islamic Republic, who struck him multiple times with batons (1). His father is the caretaker of the local mosque, and his family was forced to pay 700 million tomans to receive his body. With the help of local residents, 200 million tomans were collected, and along with a check of 300 million tomans and a check of 200 million tomans, Mahdi's body was handed over to his family (1).
