Marzieh Kamali (Bameri)

Marzieh Kamali (Bameri), daughter of Hossein and a student of Biomedical Engineering at Azad University of Kerman, was injured by gunfire from repressive forces on Bahmaniyar Street in Kerman during protests on January 9, 2026, and succumbed to her injuries (1). Her body was handed over to her family from the forensic medicine department in Kerman on Sunday, January 10, 2026, while the family was pressured and threatened into silence and coerced into signing a non-disclosure agreement (1). Her funeral was held in her hometown, Anbarabad County, on the same day around 7:30 PM under security restrictions and without public announcement (1).
