Hossein Akbari
According to a report by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, 9 January 2026, Hossein Akbari, an 18-year-old citizen from Gorgan, was shot directly by government forces and wounded in the chest with a live bullet during public protests on Shalikoubi Street in the city. Hossein Akbari died due to severe bleeding after being injured and transferred to the hospital.
