Ali Mehri

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Thursday, 9 January 2026, Ali Mehri, a 16-year-old child from Zarrin Shahr, Isfahan, was killed by direct fire from government forces during public protests in the city. According to reports, the suppressive forces fired more than 200 metal pellets at him, which hit his face, eyes, hands, neck, and chest. Due to the severity of the injuries, Ali Mehri's jaw and nose were broken. He had recently started working as a barber.
