According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, Parvin Esmailnejad, a 40-year-old Turkish citizen and a teacher in Abik, Qazvin province, was killed by direct fire from government forces during public protests in the city. She was shot in the heart with a war bullet. According to received information, Parvin Esmailnejad was a teacher and a mother of two children.
