Ali Amiri

Ali Amiri, 62 years old, was killed on Friday, January 8, 2026, during protests in Mashhad by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. On Friday evening, in Kowsar Street, Mashhad, government agents first shot him in the eyes and face with a pellet gun, then delivered a fatal shot to his forehead with a military weapon. Ali Amiri's body was promptly handed over to his family through an acquaintance, without pressure or threats from security agencies, and was laid to rest in Behesht Reza Cemetery in Mashhad.
