Alireza Habibipour

Alireza (Mehrdad) Habibipourrad, 44 years old, was shot and killed by Islamic Republic armed forces during the Fardis protests in Karaj on Friday, January 8, 2026. A live bullet struck his side, and another bullet, which was a pellet, hit his hand. On Sunday, January 10, 2026, his family retrieved his body from the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Center, and the funeral ceremony was held on Monday, January 11, 2026, in Astaneh-ye Ashrafiyeh. Alireza Habibipourrad was an inspection engineer at Pars Khodro Company and had two young children.
