Ali Armand

According to a report by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ali Armand, an 18-year-old Kurdish citizen from Islamabad-e Gharb (Shabad) in Kermanshah province, was killed on Thursday, 9 January 2026, by direct fire from government forces during public protests in Shahin Shahr, Isfahan. He was the only child of his family and was killed one day after his 18th birthday. Ali Armand was a bodybuilder and had won several medals in this field. His body was buried in his native village under tight security measures.
