
Ali Abdollahi
Ali Abdollahi-Asl, 33 years old, was killed on Friday, January 9, 2026, during the "Tehransar" protests in Tehran. He sustained a fatal injury from a live bullet fired by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. The bullet, shot from the front, struck his lung and exited from his back. After being transferred to several hospitals and being refused admission by three facilities, Mr. Abdollahi-Asl ultimately succumbed to severe bleeding at the hospital. Ali Abdollahi-Asl was a boxer, a chef, and the son of a chemical warfare veteran. He had been married for only four months. His body was transferred to the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Center on Saturday, January 10, and was subsequently buried in Behesht-e Zahra, Tehran, on Monday, January 12.
