Milad Bahadori

Milad Bahadori, 34 years old, was killed on Thursday, January 7, 2026, during protests in Fardis, Karaj, by two live rounds fired by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. Government agents fired two live rounds at Milad's hand and side; after striking him, the bullets exited Milad's body. Following the impact of the live rounds, Milad was transported to a hospital in Fardis, where he was admitted. In the early hours of Friday morning, around 4 AM, his family was informed to proceed to the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Center to retrieve his body. On Sunday, January 10, Milad Bahadori's body was laid to rest in Behesht-e Zahra, Tehran. Milad was self-employed. He had lost his father years prior, and his mother had raised him and his brother alone. He was described as a 'healthy, humble, and diligent' young man. He maintained strong friendships. In his last conversation with his friends, Milad had stated: 'We are not trying to do anything; we just want to walk. Why should they kill us?' His friends sought justice on Friday, January 8, but government forces killed two of them as well.
