Mehrshaad (Amirreza) Yazdani

Mehrshad (Amirreza) Yazdani, a 24-year-old young man who lived in the village of Rudpish in the Fuman County, was killed on January 9, 2026, in the Hafezabad area of Rasht by the forces of the Islamic Republic. Reports indicate that security forces struck him on the head with a baton and murdered him (1). His family has been pressured to present him as a Basij member and martyr, but they continue to resist these pressures (1).
